Home School Information

Photo of young people sitting round tables working on art projectThe Children’s Hospital School aims to provide an enriching and enjoyable experience for all our pupils, which ensures normality through education, and helps to prevent anxiety about schoolwork. Where appropriate, we will provide continuity of education within the framework of the National Curriculum. Education is part of the overall treatment of the children and the school is an essential component of the hospital’s facilities.

In providing continuity of education, we will work with curriculum material gathered from the patient’s school. We will also support the reintegration of priority pupils on roll at the Hospital School, back into their home schools.
